India’s classrooms are about to get a new addition to their STEAM learning journey. Express Publishing, the globally established English Language Teaching publisher with a footprint across 90+ countries and a portfolio of 3,500+ titles, has partnered with SAAR Education (I) Private Limited, one of India’s growing educational publishers, to bring its acclaimed The Real STEAM series to Indian schools under a new identity: Discovery STEAM Grades 3–8.
The partnership, facilitated by India Market Entry as Express Publishing’s Official India Partner, marks a defining moment in a journey that began with a simple ambition – to understand what Indian classrooms need, and to build something that genuinely fits.
From a Global Series to an India-First Edition
The Real STEAM, authored by Konnie Karma, has built a reputation internationally for blending STEAM learning with strong English language foundations. With this partnership, SAAR Education takes on the exciting task of adapting that proven series specifically for Indian students reimagining it as Discovery STEAM Grades 3–8, developed for classrooms across the country and set to publish under SAAR Education’s own imprint from October 2026.
This isn’t a simple import of an international title. It’s a genuine localization effort; one where Express Publishing stays closely involved throughout, working with SAAR Education to make sure every adapted page reflects the same quality and integrity that has defined the series globally, while giving it a shape that feels built for India.
The two publishers are also looking beyond the launch itself. As part of the partnership, Express Publishing will send a specialist to India every year to work directly with SAAR Education’s team sharing insights on how best to bring Discovery STEAM into schools and support educators using it.
